    Triumph!!!!!

After 3 1/2 years, 115,000+ miles driven, classroom observations in four separate school districts ,and student teaching 7th graders, on May 8th at 2PM I received my BS of Education from New Mexico State University.

Here are a few pics from the commencement and after.

What are those funky things on his feet!

On the jumbo screen receiving my piece of paper.

With my mom after the commencement. She received her BS in Education from NMSU in 1999.

    With my dad.

Walking across that stage and being recognized was worth it and showed those who placed obstacles in my way that I was not going to give up.

    Congrats.

Congratulations Rob, It's a good feeling of accomplishment when you reach the goal that you have worked so hard for. I can see from the pics that those closest to you are rightly proud of you on your big day

Well done Rob. Good old fashioned hard work and diligence, pays off in the long run.

    Nicely done sir!

Now the real basic training is over, it is time to enter the trenches and begin dealing with parent. Welcome to the cause!

    Congratulations!

    Welcome to the lounge.

ChubRock is right: you're about to start REALLY learning! I hope your district puts you in a classroom very soon.
