Two Great Things Just Happend

:-P The first is I just received my new Stillwater 'Nightstalker' kilt, and I couldn't be happier. This is my first tartan kilt, and now it looks like I'll be buying many more in the future. The look and feel of it, blew me away. I absolutely love it, and I'll post pics as soon as I can.

:grin: The second thing that happend is my kilt showed up when my dad was visiting his grandkids (my kids). I put the kilt on as soon as I opened it, and my dad loved it, and had me order the same kilt for him. Hopefully it'll show before Christmas, and he is so stoked about it.

So to get him ready for his first kilt, I'm making his a sporran like the one I made for me and getting him a pair of kilt hose. Then we'll be ready to show up to all our family and friends places kilted and looking even meaner then we already do. Now to get my kids kilted, then my town, then the whole world, HAHAHAHA!

That's great! I'll never get my dad into a kilt. Mom can't even get him to wear shorts!

Even my brother doesn't want to wear one. About the only way I'll get him into one is if I get married (not happening any time soon) in full kilt outfit and he's in the wedding party. Even then it will only be temporary. Unless of course he finds he likes it.;-)

Thats really nice. I wish I could get my 83 year old dad in a kilt, but I
don't think thats going to happen.
Tartan kilts are the coolest......pretty colors, like a peacock.

Yep, also not gonna happen at my house. My dad likes my kilt, but, unless I get him to go with me to an event, I don't think he'd wear a kilt, much less, buy one for himself.

I can't talk the old man into even posing for a picture in one. My son and I are going to get him in a picture with us at christmas and then we're going to photo shop his #ss! ;)

Wish you luck. Our older dads are set in their ways. I know my dad wouldn't, he has just one leg. WWII wounded, although I think he'd still
look great..he's proud of his Scots heritage.

What does your dad do there? Tracy and I will be attending this year (I put my foot down and said "no, I *won't work that weekend" for the first time in 3 years), and might be able to look you and yer Father up for a wee dram.

Wow, congrats on both items! There's no way I could ever get my brothers into kilts. I'd really like to get my brother-in-law to try one, he's the guy who gives me such a hard time about wearing mine. If only I oculd get him to "see the light". LOL
