Upcoming Festivals

Next weekend is the Oklahoma Scottish Festival in Tulsa, the following weekend is the Clanjamfry: Scottish Festival in Memphis. I've never been to a Festival/faire/Games. so I would like to make at least one. Memphis is closer, Tulsa is probably way bigger.

Anyone have any knowledge of either of these? Anyone going to either?

For those in California: the The 31th Annual Fresno Highland Gathering & Games are September 13th, 2008 - 8:00am! I plan to be there -- and I hope others on the list will be there too! I haven't figured out which kilt I'll wear. I was going to wear the tank....but its been so hot, and I don't want to it to get stained.

I have never been to the one in Tulsa, I will be running the Clan Skene booth at the Memphis Clanjamfry on Saturday the 20th. Come on by.

Let's don't forget the KELSO HIGHLANDER FESTIVAL at Tam O'Shanter park in Kelso, Wa.
on Sept 13 & 14th.

And there is, of course, Chicago Celtic Fest:
September 13th and 14th in Grant Park

I haven't been to any of the others mentioned, but I'm sure they are as much of a blast as any of the other Celtic or Scottish festivals I've been to.
