The Valentine's Day present

Hi everyone,

My wife had been commenting on her needing something to wear will I go to these events kilted. I felt her out for a sport kilt (no way she was going to dive in all the way). Being Irish decent (Mahoney) she liked the All Irish.

So what's a husband do but kind of trick her out of her size and order it thus becoming an enabler.

Jim

Very nice!

Whenever my girlfriend asks for something I formally try to switch off and pretend to add it to the mental list... as soon as she mentions the words Scottish, tartan or kilt then I automatically switch on. I ended up buying her a beautiful designer Graham of Menteith tartan dress that she loves and I'm now convincing her to let me buy her a women's kilt/skirt in a tartan that she is extremely directly related to from both her mum and dad's bloodlines... sadly she doesnt quite find it as attractive as the Graham of Menteith tartan, but I'm sure I'll succeed one day!

Ya know... I will never buy myself another Sport Kilt. However, I'll buy as many of their skirts for my wife as she wants. Their women's clothing is beautiful. That's a great gift, man! I'm planning on getting my wife a Loud MacLeod full length skirt for a late Valentines Day gift. Or given the fact that her birthday is not too far off, maybe I'll just make it a birthday gift. I'm already taking her to the mountains for 2 days- what more can she realistically ask for... right?

Excellent!

Now hem it up another 6" or so and you'll really be cooking with gas!

Here she is my Celtic cowgirl. She decided to go with boots with it. At her height of 5' 10" she didn't need any hemming. At 41 I'll take my lady over the girls we saw at the Tilted Kilt. She's still got it. By the time most of them double their age I wouldn't put any money on it.

I held back a pic of myself (kilted) as I can't follow an act like that.
