    The virtual kilt....

I'm playing American Idol with my daughter on Wii right now. I can't say I'm much of a singer, but I can still rock out in a kilt...seriously

The game enables you to chose different hairstyles, facial hair, head shapes and outfits....and yup, there about 4 different types of kilted outfits you can wear. I chose the Stewart with the Prince Charlie jacket. I look great! Too bad I don't sound great....

I think that's the only way I'd be able to do a caber toss without ending up with a permanent injury.

Tiger Woods 09 lets you select a kilt for your profile. There's about 8 tartan choices, I think. I went with one that looks vaguely like Royal Stewart or Cunningham. You can also select a tam.

So, do I get to change my kilt count when I have saved half the money to buy my next or when I get all the money together and actually order it? Either way, I'm getting close to 1.5!

Just played Tiger Woods 10 last night. Sure enough, there is a basic character you can select with a kilt. Quick modifications can be made to his shirt.

Funny thing, my non-kilted friends started critiquing the character's kilt. "It's a bit above the knee", "That sporran looks kind of high", and my favorite "His flashes don't match".

I guess I'm rubbing off on my friends?
