    Warming Up

Now that kilts are no longer tied to tartans and to wool, there seem to be more men preferring kilts rather than shorts in the warmer weather - kilts are more modest as unlike shorts they don't ride up the thigh when you sit.

Alex, I envy you thinking of warmer weather...

It has been snowing here the last couple of days, but the skies were clear today. We had a great day out with our toboggans on the mountain sides around here. The road to our nearest town was closed due to snow/passable by convoy yesterday, but open again today

I've worn my kilts in everything from -20 F (windchill factor) to 90 F and always quite comfy - lets face it gang, the kilt is the nearly perfect male garment.

Second that, there's nothing I can think of that's better. Windy days DO seem to get me more attention than I'm used to though

I agree, you just can't beat them. Wonder if my old pants would make good fire starters?

It pains me to say this, but there are rare moments when a kilt is probably not a good idea. Arctic exploration, lunar exploration, fighting fires, doing space walks, working at the hospital in the stomach flu ward, rodeo clown, you know, a few jobs like those.
