    Wearing my first kilt outside

I have been wearing my kilt around the house for a couple of weeks. Just trying to get used to it. Today, I wore it outside to do some yard work. It was great. Well, here it is. What do ya think?

I hope I added this picture correctly.

Looking good, wearing a kilt outside and in public gets easier the more you strap it on and go for it!

I remember my first time. I was really, really nervous (though I tried not to show it) till a woman approached me at the grocery store, gave me a compliment and asked where she might get one for her husband. I still get snickers, laughs, dirty looks from men and sly winks from women. It's like riding a beautiful Harley. After awhile I don't even notice people's reaction.

Good for you! Just so you know the kilt should really be worn rather higher than in the picture. The bottom should be no lower than the centre of the kneecap and actually many think the kilt should be worn no lower than the top of the kneecap.Of course it is up to you ,but at least you know. Have fun!
