Smile Wearing your kilt in Glasgow Scotland

Glasgow is one of the most appreciative places to wear your kilt. I wear mine frequently on various occasons whether it is a Scotland football match at Hampden Park or on a social night on the town. Everytime you were your kilt it is an adventure, you are never alone, even in Glasgow people want to come up and talk to you and tell you how good you look in the kilt.

Most Scottish guys have worn the kilt, mostly when they are at a wedding and often this is the first time it has been worn. Certainly after wearing it for the first time and feeling so good in it, the next step is to buy your own.
Its great to see the kilt becoming a frequent alternative attire at any occasion or just for the fun of wearing it.

To confirm the increased popularity of wearing the kilt for formal and leisure times, you only have to look at the rise in Highland Dress Shops throughout the length of Great Britain. If you wanted to go into business, a safe bet would be a kilt shop.

Welcome to Xmarks from Ontario Canada.

It's always nice to here that the kilt is appreciated, wherever you might be.

I hope you enjoy the group here.

A warm welcome from northern Norway! Kilt wearing is kind of like Hotel California: you can check out, but you can never leave...

Welcome to the forum. Not been to Glasgow in a while. I had a fellowship at the university 1994-5. Loved it. Enjoy!
