    West Point Reunion

I recently attended the West Point 65th reunion. At our last dinner, we were entertained by the West Point Pipe Band. Sorry no pictures, but the cadets were very impressive!

A cadet sat at each table to share dinner and of course I peppered our young man (his younger sister is also in the band) with questions about the band and their kilts. He explained that their tartan represents 'the elements of gunpowder'.

The band was quite good. I liked their tartan, but I think the USAK US Army is nicer.

I was stationed there from '91 to '96. A beautiful place to live and work, but as for the job...

Boring. Not enough action for Law Enforcement there.

I was stationed there. A working joe doing the law enforcement mission as an MP.

    NOT a cadet.

They were a bunch of good kids for the most part...

Just to clarify, is the band tartan the West Point tartan of grey, black, gold?
