| | | what a bunch of fanatics!
My wife loves me, she respects me, but i found today that she thinks I'm a bit fanatic about wearing kilts.
I love to discuss everything with her, but when it come to kilts I first ask if I can mention the "k" word
She is right (as always) I am a fanatic. I joined a pipe band, I started Scottish country dancing, I go to ceilidhs, I go anywere....for an excuse to wear a kilt.
I am a kiltaholic, I've not worn a kilt for 5 minutes now.

Well Graham, being a fanatic about wearing kilts is far better than most fanaticisms and far less antisocial than being a politician or lawyer

We're only on this planet once. Look at it as living your life to the full. You've started 3 new hobbies, you're keeping fit and you're happy - which means stress levels drop and you live longer.
Surely your family must have noticed the lightness of being as a result of your new lease of life. Better that by far, than you sculking around the house being miserable.
Any family member who goes on at you - tell them to lighten up! (In a nice way, of course, especially if it's your wife!)

At least you are picking up new hobbies that doesn't do harm to any one. In fact, you will be providing endless entertainment to you, your loved ones and of course, people who don't know you.
I am a kiltaholic as well. I spend at least 3-4 days a week in kilt. I no longer saving money to buy a new car or new toys, but spending money is saved toward new kilts.

NOW she may see things differently but....

Good idea Blu, they need a lot of support, after all, they have to be seen with their husbands running around in a kilt, poor things!
