    What Did You Do Today?

    Hell-o all,

How did you spend your day kilted?

I raked my leaves, and when I had a big pile, rolled around in all kilted. Lots of fun!

I checked my email, played guitar, and then went to work. I wore my Ramsay Blue Bear Kilt for the first two, and my khaki Utilikilt for the last. Now, after work, I'm back in the Bear Kilt.

Picked up sheets of sign material from a suppier (got covered in dust)
Completed screwing together some restaurant signs (got covered in metal shavings)
Made lots of cuppas (got covered in tea)

I need a good tough work kilt or three.

Long one for me today, but kilted. New USA Kilt Gray Thompson semi-traditional. Started with an 8am meeting at work, then took a break to drive over to the property manager's and pay the rent, then the local hospital to pay my mother's surgery bill, back to work to see individual clients for therapy - two young mothers clean off of methamphetamine, paperwork, phone calls to probation officers, judges, and missing clients, then a two hour DUI treatment group. Lunch in there somewhere. Got home 13 hours after showing up for work...still kilted...

If I'm gonna sit so much I'm gonna be comfy.

Wasn't kilted untill I got home from work and changed. Ran the border collies for 20 minutes or so, then took the missus out for dinner (to Outback Steakhouse). After that, over to a friend''s house to pick up his mail and check on his critters while he's out of town, then back to our casa. It put a smile on my face when Tracy walked into the house, saw me in the kilt and said, "Oh crap-now I've got to dress up: you look better than me".

Bryan...I never *really* look better than her...

    Nothing special..

Got up, put on the AK tan, then got the girls ready for school. Took them to school, then went to work. Meetings, meetings, meetings, conference call (check XMarks will listening to blah, blah, blah  ). Then pick girls back up from school because wife is still waiting for the furnace guy to show up for his 10:00AM appointment! Run girls home, back to work for an afternoon marathon of meetings, then home to play ball and frisbee with wife, daughters, and neighbor girl from next door. Still in AK, but heavy coat on top because temps were starting to drop by then. Rest of the evening was dinner, some surfing, XMarking, etc. wearing SK. Oh, and examining new USAK, which I am wearing at the office as I type this!

Boy, don't miss raking leaves, but would love to roll around in some somebody else had raked!

No kilt today but usually I go to school, walk through a slightly windy parking lot, go to work (parts running, cleaning shop, etc...) and go to whatever store or bank I need. The other day I went to school, missed my chance to ask a girl out (succeded the next day with an optomistic but busy response, though I was troosered), then went to the gun shop to look at buying a G98, K98 witha peep sight (probably will buy this one for the price and it is already modified so it is not sacralige to change it), or a no.4 mk1 SMLE.

I got asked by the gunsmith if I was killing any irish. And then was told a joke that went over my head about a big guy, a curious village and what was under his kilt. But he never asked me about underwear.

Didn't don the kilt until this evening. Adjusted the chain on my new Rob Roy sporran and strapped on the SW. Asked my wife to stop by the Office Depot on the way to the lake for our evening walk. Mature lady clerk says "Hey, I love that kilt!" "As do I, thanks" I said. Walked around the lake and had 2 young lassies admire the kilt. One gent smiled and nodded sort of sideways with a "Well, that's unsual but kind of cool" expression. I like the new sporran and enjoyed the unsually warm weather on the walk tonight.

My nieghbor just raked his leaves. Guess I could have put on the kilt and rolled around in his yard, but didn't think about it until I read this and now the leaves are all bagged. Drat!
