What do wives wear?

Here's a question my wife asked: “What do the ladies wear hiking when a gentleman is wearing a kilt?” The question arises because on several occasions we've been out walking and people have stopped us to comment on the kilt and how good it (I) look; but my wife's blue jeans don't get any notice.
So, what do the ladies wear? Love to hear from the women on this board as well as the men.

My wife wears comfortable cargo pants and a t-shirt. Though when we went out to Tahq. Falls she wore her "Kilt Inspector" shirt, which got a couple comments.

Wives wear women's clothes, of course -- jeans, pants, shorts, anything bifurcated will do.

As of late, my wife has been wearing a denim skirt. But equally often it has been blue jeans.

My girlfriend bought an olive Utilikilt original....and she sometimes wears my old style gathered Sportkilts since they work well as a tartan dress look for her.

I think she'd be wearing whatever she'd've been wearing for any other hike. Except, of course, she'd be much closer to her hiking companion!
