So I worked out at the YMCA on Saturday morning, and had showered, dressed, and was getting ready to head out of the locker room when a gentleman comes in from his workout, looks at me in my kilt, and says "So it's a kilty day today, hmmh?". He said it in a nice way and I replied "yes". Then he asked me if I was going to a festival or other gathering and I replied no, I just like wearing one. Then I was starting to leave and he followed up with "So just a hanging out kind of day?", to which I heartily replied "You got THAT right!!" as I walked out.
I don't think that he got the meaning of what he asked or why I replied so enthusiastically, but I thought my fellow XMarkers would!
