    What are you doing today?

    Hello all!

Today I am sitting in the shade on my deck, in my Drummond of Perth kilt smoking a Diplomaticos Number 1 (Habana) that my good friend brought me yesterday. Nice and cool, birds chirping, cat purring, and thinking about the analysis I have to do this afternoon. Steaks on the grill, a Negra Modelo or two, and going to sleep in the tent with my two little boys this cool evening. Cheers!
    Peace to you,

    Chris

I am going to sit behind a computer all day, do some business process analyst testing projects until this 4:00PM. Then I will pick my son up from daycare, go home, cook dinner, watch Pirate Master on TV, play with my son for a while, and then go to sleep.

Aside from the time spent with my son, your day sounds much nicer. Cheers!

Let's see. I think I will finish my morning coffee (s) and then head over to the DMV for an eye test and to renew my license. It should be interesting to see how being kilted at the DMV goes. Afterwards I plan on working on my garden railroad and cleaning the garage. The afternoon will be spent out in the garden, playing with the children, reading, and enjoying the day. For the evening I imagine cocktails with the Lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess with figure prominently. Oh and of course periodically checking into X Marks the Scot!

    Cheers

A rare cool spell here...but off to work. The usual DUI Screenings for the local court during the day, then facilitating the DUI treatment group at night. Think maybe there's one intake assessment for a child protective services endangerment case on my schedule too.

Maybe get home early enough tonight to catch the end of the Diamondbacks game on tv.

Well as for me I just got back, I took the dog for a walk this morning when it was still a little cool, and just got my hair cut, this afternoon, I will be going up to my brother's house, and later on tonight think I will go to a meeting, it was funny getting my hair cut one of the stylists says I love the dress, but the way she said it was sincere, she really liked it, she just didn't know what to call it.

I spent this morning making some gages for the shop. Did a quick drawing for a company that shall remain nameless, but rhymes with Cow Morning, just before lunch and now I'm browsing here and catching up on emails I missed. In a half hour or so I'll head back into the shop and do a bit more machining then come back into the office and do payroll and start to prepare my weekly financial report for the owner. I'm sure I'll have a few more emails to answer too. Hopefully a few jobs come over for quotation as well. I may leave when I'm supposed to for home, or maybe work on some parts for my race bike. Not sure. It's supposed to be really hot here today so I may just stay indoors and work.
I strive to be the person that my little boy and my dog think I am and to live in a place where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.

    Hi,

For me, cellular phone turned off giving me an uninterrrupted day in my woodworking shop so I can finish up a musical instrument for my granddaughter's birthday.

Right now I'm at home checking the forum with my two cats, then it's back to work for my second and third shifts. Tonight...who knows.

    Today

I got up at 4:00 AM so I could ride my Segway to work just after sunrise. Then my fellow controller and I sequenced about 30 heavy aircraft arriving Anchorage from the East Coast. I'm on a short break right now.

I'll go home at 2:00 PM, sleep for a couple of hours, then go back tonight at 10:00 PM and work the midnight shift (kilted) for another 8 hours. My house is being painted this week, so I'll probably only get several interrupted naps before the mid.

Sunrise today 4:27 AM, sunset 11:30 PM for 19:03 of daylight. Gotta go grab a bit of lunch before heading back to the sector . . .
