Where can I get these hose??

    Hey Y'all-
I've seen now a couple of pics throughout the forum of members wearing a hose that consists of a plain color legging , with an argyll over-turn. I think these are fantastic, but I have no idea wear they are sold. Member McMurdo wears them with his Ulster Red kilt (for reference). WHERE CAN I GET A PAIR?!?!?!?!

The hose you are talking about are from the Hawick Hose Company, cessna152towser recently did a photo tour of the factory, here is the link:

They really are wonderful hose and have quickly become my favorite, I ordered mine from Redshanks Scotland, however there is no way to order them on the site. I know that Matt sells Hawick hose through the Scottish Tartan Museum, but I am unsure of his selection. I hope this helps.

I believe Thistle & Clover in St. Charles, Missouri sells them. A friend of mine bought a pair of them there a couple of years ago.

They're not listed on their web site, though.

Not meaning to change the question asked, but has anyone ever tried wearing Diabetic knee high socks with a kilt?
Not really for formal wear but they work great with casual kilts.
Very soft and warm, and also very comfortable.
    I wear them a lot.
Only drawback is that they stretch out very easy an only get a few wears out of them.

Now back to the original question.

    Hey Y'all-
My name is Josh BTW-OK.......I'm still not able to find these hose. I found the maker's web site, but its under a new name and no other info. Tartan museum sells the Balmoral hose , which are nice, but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for. Does ANYONE know where to look? I tried RedShanks, but they offer no catalogue.....AAAAAAAHHHHHHH

We do sell hose from the Hawick sock company, but not this style at the moment. That's something I plan on working on in the future, though, I just need to work out the logistics of ordering with them. Something to look forward to in 2008.....
