    Why I love UKs

It's that heavy apron. We were out tonight. Beautiful evening, in the 80s. Decided to have a curry and take it is the park. "Let's sit on the grass." In a UK the apron always does its job. No matter how you sit or lie, the UK folds itself just right. You don't have to think about it. And no worries about the grass. Have to say I would not have been as relaxed in my wool kilts. Viva los UKs.

I know what you mean, since I mostly wear UK's I have to be a lot more mindful about doing the "sweep and tuck" when sitting in other styles of kilt.

    Best regards,

I love all my Kilts. Just have to remember which one I am wearing.

I don't own a UK. But, from the photos and videos I've seen, they look as though the apron falls into place.

Brad, I think it may be to do with the width of the apron. Sit down, legs just apart and it naturally falls between. No need to push it down. Quite neat really. I don't know if it was designed that way or after the design it just worked.

Steve designed the UKs to be functional first. The logo is three folded "F"s for "Form Follows Function". I'm sure the kilts were designed that way.
