The "Why??" Question
So I'm at Safeway after work. Lucked out and got a close parking space. Just loaded my groceries and am starting to get into the car when over by the shopping cart storage a guy I sorta/kinda recognize from somewhere shouts, "Hey Ron, What's with the kilts all the time?"
He's about 40 something, in local redneck scruffy dress, but his tone is friendly and a bit curious.
So I look at him a while as if thinking it through, then say proudly, " Comfort....Freedom....Wisdom....and Heritage..."
He just sort of looks like he's processing all that for a while, then nods at me, and turns around with a cart headed into the store to do his shopping.
Still can't recall where I know him from, but I seemed to have answered his question to his satisfaction.
Here's what I was wearing today.

USA Kilts semi-trad in Dress Gordon tartan. Stillwater brown leather nightstalker. Lewis kilt hose with traditional garter ties. Brown Z Coils, and the leather Orvis replica RAF mechanic's vest.

Good look Ron, and great answer, good for you.

Is it wrong to say that you're a ruggedly handsome man Great answer and the guy seemed to accept it or else he's still thinking about it

Ron, you were the best dressed man at Safeway today. Thats why all the ladys seem to hang on you I bet. I wish I could dress like that.
Looking good man.

If we weren't out in such a public place, and the guy didn't know me, I might have said, "I'm a p*rn star so I need more room..."
Still haven't had a chance to deliver that line...
This guy seemed sincere so played it straight.
