Women's Mini Kilts on ScotlandonTV
I thought of Panache's wife when I saw this. Here's to a trendsetter and a woman ahead of her time - the Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess!

*GASP* I wanna know what tartan that was on that first mini! Anyone have any idea? I loved it! I was a little too long, but I loved the tartan.

Very nice video. It finally concinved my wife to order a mini-kilt in the Isle of Skye
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Did you notice the darts in the aprons?
Well, presumably there are corresponding darts in the lower apron.
Also the pleats were - I think - pointing anti clockwise which - from what has been said, would be the 'wrong' way.
The aprons were reversed so the right was over the left, but I am almost sure the pleats were not - must watch it again to check.

Backwards
Yes indeed that mini kilt was backwards from a man's kilt. With all women's clothing the assumption is that someone (servant, friend) will dress her so the buttons, clasps etc, work from the other side. Works out well if she is left handed, awkward otherwise.

Nice kilt but her legs are a little slim for my taste.
I guess I shall never see this lovely lady or the kilt again so I can have my opinion without sounding critical.

Fabulous. I have always liked to see a lady in a kilted skirt, mini or otherwise.
It's a pity it's such a rare sight these days, with most women going for the awful trouser option .
