    This is wonderful!

Back in, maybe, February, I ordered myself a SWK Economy in solid black. It showed up in record time, given it was shipped to Hawaii. When I had gotten it, I found, to my dismay, that I had ordered too small.

Well... I just had the chance to try it on again for the first time since that day. It fits!!! I've managed to lose enough off my waist that it not only fits, but it fits without being on the very last holes of the straps!!!

Needless to say, I wore it all day as we ventured around Maine and New Hampshire!!!

Oh yeah... I also managed to pick up some leather to make some sporrans. More on how that goes later.

    That is good news!

Too bad we didn't bump into each other while kilted.

Didn't you know that Jerry has ESP and sends your kilt before you order? That is the only expanation I can come up with for his incredibly fast service.
Congrats not only on your new found kilt, but on your weight loss. Good luck with your sporrans.

Congratulations on having you kilt grow in the closet. Most accounts I've read attest to the fact that they shrink in the closet. Gotta Lover Jerry's expdedient nature. O'Neille

Crongratulations. Unfortunately my first kilt is made of the shrinking wool variety. I got married in it ten years ago and it has shrunk so badly that I had to get a pleat removed and now strap extensions.

I will have to try the shrinking belly technique proposed by yourself to see if I can keep up with the kilt in the cupboard.

Kilts can supply so many happy experiences

There is, however, nothing like donning a kilt and finding that it is a little looser than the last time it was worn. Definitely an excuse for an all day smirk.

It is rather like throwing double six twice and landing on the long ladder, but in real life.

Having gone from a 50 inch equator to a 38 inch waistline just fastening a belt can be a good start to the day for me.

great news!!! I'm sure a great many of us have that same goal, to fit into a smaller-sized kilt!

My kilts fit better since I dropped about 30 excess pounds by riding my bicycle. I ride 25 - 30 miles per day. In 2 1/2 years I have clocked almost 13,000 miles - and saved nearly $2,000 in gasoline money. That can buy a lot of kilts.
