Word is getting around...
I went to a Christmas party with my wife and her family this weekend. The hostess works with my mother-in-law. I had never met the host before. They are a lovely couple from Great Britain. I introduced myself to the host, simply as Seán, to which he replied, "nice to meet you Seán, where's your kilt?"
My only pair of hose needed washing, and it was far too cold for regular socks, so I wore pants that night.
Apparently I can't go anywhere in pants anymore...

This is a sign for you to buy several more pairs of kilt hose, in different colors.

Yes, get yourself some more hose. You can't make it without at least two sets. Glad you're expected to be in a kilt at all times though.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I have kilt hose and an SWK cargo sporran in black leather on my Christmas list.
And I seriously get asked everywhere! My priest basically expects me to wear a kilt every weekend, my students ask if they haven't seen me in a kilt in a few days, my coworkers ask, my mom asks... It seems like my wife is the only person happy to see me in pants!

You only have to wear a kilt a couple of times before everyone wants to know why you're not wearing it.
