"Works for me!"
So, I and tha family were in Borders this weekend (a chain book store) and browsing the children's section. My 2 daughters began talking to another little girl that was there (she was 9-10) and aksed her to read them a book. I was nearby and in my UK. Before she started reading them the book, she turned to me and asked if it was a kilt (smart kid already!). I said yes. She then asked if I was Scottish and I replied no, Welsh. She looked at me again, said "Works for me!" and proceeded to read the book to my daughters. Another great experience kilted!

So Rob...

I posted on this earlier, but it didn't show up. If it shows up later (like they can on Yahoo), it's the server's fault, & not that I'm crazy or anything. Anyway, that's my story & I'm sticking to it. :-D
What a kool kid! And a nice smile for the day.

I might look like I'm doing nothing, but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy.

When a young one says something as adorable as that, it works for me too!
Also I do agree with Bryan you must get a Cilt.
Sherry I do believe you, and I am sticking to that too.

Great story, KCW. Kids seem to be the most accepting of kilts.

Its been my experience that kids tend to be doppelgangers of thier parents & will pick up the attitudes&* behaviours tehy see around themselves day in & day out.
Souinds like that little angel has cool parents who are bringing her up teh right way!

Certainly a well informed young lady! She could set a good example for some of the adults we run into from time to time.
This makes me think of a girl (probably around 8-9) that was sitting beside her mother reading a book. She looked as I was approaching, then covered her face with the book as I walked by. I'm sure she must have asked her mother if that man was wearing a skirt or dress.
