    Worst kind of jones?

I don't know what's worse, jonesing for something that you ordered and are waiting for it to ship, or knowing that your item is sitting at the post office just down the street, waiting to be picked up. The Argyll jacket I won off Ebay 2 weeks ago arrived today, but I was in the shower when the postman came by. Now I have to wait until 1pm tomorrow to pick it up at the post office.

Well at least you know where it is Al, if that is any consolation.

    Congrats on its arrival.

Yes, but knowing...that it's...right...there! I'd say, it's worse when you missed the mailman, cuz you could've had it.

Try to get some sleep tonight.

I'm jonesing for my new sporran that's due on Nov. 30. Hope I'm not in the tub playing with my kilted rubber duck when it arrives!

On another site I frequent dealing with modern Military weapons, they have this quote: "Black Rifle Disease makes a heroin addiction seem like a vague longing for something salty"

I was jonesing for my Freelander for weeks, got all excited when I finally got it, and now it sits here on my desk, taunting me, because I haven't had the time to make a strap worthy of it.

I saw a group buy for straight 30rnd .308 FAL mags .... can you say "accessorize?"

I just returned from the post office. Well worth the wait! What a nice jacket, and it seems to be a perfect fit. I'm just letting it air out and warm up a bit, hopefully I'll have some pics later tonight.

your patience has been rewarded, the jacket sounds good. Glad ebay worked out, I've never had much success with it.

Pics are up in the "show us your pics" forum.

Graham, I've been buying & selling on Ebay for almost 10 years now, and have only had one bad experience, and it was a minor one.
