    X Marks the SPOT

Well, after making my X-Marks kilt I found myself with a long skinny piece left over (due to a measuring error). I already made flashes and had some other scraps for future projects. I couldn't bear to throw it away, so I made bookmarks.

    Lots of bookmarks.

    Several dozen bookmarks.

What to do with them now, I wondered.

Christmas presents! But who would want one? How about the members of the rabble who haven't yet acquired any of this wondrous material?? Surely they would appreciate this seemingly insignificant squib of cloth.

So here it is. Send me a PM with a mailing address and I'll send you one genuine 16 ounce 100% worsted wool X Marks the Scot bookmark. Each is guaranteed to contain at least one gold stripe and one white stripe. The corners are secured with a drop of premium SuperGlue for durability under the most extreme conditions.

    Happy Holidays.

    Very cool idea.

A 1.5" tie would look pretty odd...

He was referring to the width. Now i'd love to see someone with a 1.5' tie. of course it would have to be some one really thin to pull it off.

Good Idea, I've been trying to figure out what to do with all my cut out pleats from my xmarks kilt. Maybe Christmas tags, cards, ornaments. Any ideas?
