 XMarks in the Four Corners?
I was wondering, are there any XMarkers in the 4 Corners area of the US? (SW Colorado, NW New Mexico, NE Arizona, SE Utah.) If so, we should do something.

Sorry I can't help specifically with that request, but from the main forum page if you scroll about halfway down, there is an "Events" section that's divided up by region, or by state if you're in the U.S. http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f168/
You may want to check in there to see if there's anything going down. In addition, I'd also see if there's a "Social Group" dedicated to the 4 corners area of the U.S. The quickest way to get there is from the very top menu bar of the webpage, use the pulldown menu under "Community" (Community Links).

Who Me??
Aye, its a long drive - about four hours to the Four Corners monument proper.
Used to mine up in Ouray back in the 60s and love to go back and to soak in Orvis Hot Springs in Ridgway. Someday, gonna meet the guy who flys the Saltire at the south end of town in Ouray. A micro brewery flys the Saltire in Ridgway.

Taos
I'm about 3 1/2 hours away in Taos! Of course you do not want to assume that US 64 will be open between Tierra Amarilla and Tres Piedras this time of the year.
We just had our Burns Night celebration here with about 50 in attendance.
Next Kilt night here will probably be for Tartan Day, unless you can think of another reason.
Kilted meetups are always welcome!
