You want a MacArthur kilt, don't you?! :)

I hear from a trustworthy source that we could get SWK to special weave and create some MacArthur kilts if we can place an order for 40 of said kilts.

The MacArthur tartan is what my avatar is.

Do you think 40 people would be interested in a MacArthur from SWK?

You know you want one...it is a great tartan!!

Too late, I have a 16oz wool one half finished in my closet. But I must agree, it is a wonderful tartan!!

Oops. I'm sorry, Pipes, I removed the question I was asking. Hope you are able to get bunches and bunches of people in on the kilt run though. Good luck.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

It is a nice tartan. I've always liked it. However, I think I would prefer one in PV instead of Acrylic.

Note that with a few as 10 orders, the Celtic Croft can get kilts made, or so says their website.

That said, understand that this is their Homespun material, which isn't as nice, nor does it hold a pleat as well as worsted. HOWEVER.....a box-pleated kilt could be done, and certainly a belted plaid as well.

Hey, I'm in on this one. I was lookin' at that on the Kilt Store's tartan finder, and it looks very nice. I'd certainly be in on this, but only if it's in the wool heavyweight. I have two acrylic and I don;t like them. They snag on everything!
