Since you used my quote, I should add at least one photo.

First day wearing a kilt. Not sure why I wore the combo I did, but I have tried not to look at that photo since

I can't even tell I was wearing a sporran, and I was there. Not sure why my hose are rolled down so much either. Again with the jacket. Believe it or not, I still have that jacket. If anyone wants to pay postage for it, it is yours to try and alter.

Luckily, I don't have any incriminating evidence, but a few times, I wore denim shirts that weren't tucked in over a t-shirt with my Lennox tartan kilt. Also wore a skinny belt in my early weeks of kilting... That's about it for me.

I have recently switched from a Scottish shop style kilt belt with the silver buckle to a wide handmade leather belt made for Utilikilts. Has a normal buckle which looks less garish than the previous belt. Works nicely with a traditional kilt, too. I've also stopped using the Russian surplus belt that I used to wear with my UK's. In fact, I may be posting that one in the for sale forum.

Ah Ha! That's what you thought. I have come across pictures of the offending garment and unless you send me one new kilt a month I will display the pictures for all to see.

This is the first pic taken of me in my first cilt. At the time I though I was stylin', but now I'm embarrassed by this pic.

The very first time I wore a kilt in public was at my wedding in 2003. I had studied a lot, and think I did pretty well, but I'll let you guys judge that.

Hose!? What are hose? Do Californians wear them?

Just for that, I'm going to assault your eyes with another pic. Typical Scottish weather at a games - I should have worn a wool kilt, not a cotton one. And that dang skunk was after my camera...
