I want to just give a shout out to USAK on their casual Kilts. I began my kilted Christmas with a road trip nearly half way across the country; nearly 16 hours of travel time, with time out for refueling and meals. I wore my USAK Ireland’s National Casual kilt. The further north we travelled the cooler it became. Started from Alabama in the 60’s, ended in Kansas in the upper 20’s. Never felt more comfortable on a drive. Checked into the hotel and hung up my kilt for wear the next day. What simply amazed me was looking at the kilt on the hangar after the drive. Not a wrinkle or pleat out of sorts, if one didn’t know better, by all appearances, the kilt had never been worn.

That is the benefit of MM PV. I wore a similar Scottish made one every day for 3 weeks on holiday recently including nearly 50 hours of flights and it was just as pristine at the end as at the beginning.

Hope you've departed Kansas. It's going to be very, very cold here for a few days. Beyond brass monkey cold, but well down to only a fool would wear a kilt cold. The wind is picking up now as we await Canada's most unwelcome export.

On the other hand the USAK casual is every bit as good as you say. I have two.

Just so you know, most of Canada has been locked in a few weeks of extreme fridgid weather. Ironically some of the warmest weather has been in the far north. And no we are not responsible for ‘exporting’ cold weather to our Southern neighbour, but if you believe so perhaps you should build a wall to keep it out.😉
