From my non-professional view, the selvedge is normal (pic # 1), as is the little bit of apron sewn down along the edge (pic # 2). Pic # 3 does not look correct to me, but pic #4 is also normal since...

While I have zero information to add to this, I did want to say a few things:
First, I think the costume looks great, even with the inaccuracies others have noted. I would never have noticed,...

Unless things have changed, I can confirm that there is neither stabilizer nor interfacing in the Economy Wool kilts. How do I know? I'm wearing one at this very moment.

If it's any help, his site has not been updated since April 21st. When I was checking regularly before these problems started, it seemed like he was updating it at least weekly. Perhaps this...

Hi Jerry!
Just curious whether there is still a fabric shortage with your kilt makers? I've been hoping to see Heavyweight Wool Kilts reappear on your site for months and months now, and I'm...

Good News Everyone!
Or, at least, perhaps so. The Keltoi website was updated yesterday (March 10th), so perhaps now there will be some news from John, and those who have had kilts in production...

Spaceballs, anyone?
Barf: [Spaceball 1 roars by them, in a plaid colouration of speed] Aah!
Barf:What the hell was that?
Lonestar: Spaceball 1.
Barf: They've gone to plaid!

Steve,
Had you noticed that the Custom Kilt section is no longer present?
I've also noticed that there are many items in the store that are out of stock, and have been so for a while. Is the...

I am also somewhat concerned; I had been planning on picking up quite a few items from Keltoi over the next few months, hunting sporran, kilt, belt, etc. I had sent an email towards the end of...

I'm a big fan of the Muted, myself, but can only dream of it being woven in 16oz. It's a tartan I'd like to wear all year, but I'm skeptical of the ability of medium weight wool to keep me warm on...

Hi Steve,
A few weeks ago, I emailed you regarding getting a quote for a few kilts since your website still does not allow me to select a tartan to get the full price. The kilts add to the cart...

May I ask which version of the Maple Leaf tartan that is, from which Mill?

This is indeed a tough one. There are a lot of good movies, but I'll give it a shot!
1. Snatch (2000)
2. Falling Down (1993)
3. The Longest Day (1962)
4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back...

Excellent. Those measurements will be taken, and you'll be hearing from me in January. What colours do you have on hand? And what will these marvelous socks cost?

Hi Steve,
Are you able to offer these for sale at this point? I can't stop looking at that olive pair, and seeing as finances will soon be much better, I was already considering ordering a few...

Greetings,
The title says it all; I need answers to 2 questions:
1) Do you use in-house kitmakers, or are the jobs outsourced? If they are outsourced, do the end customers know who the...

I'm just glad that I ripped all of my old CDs to digital versions, and have kept them all on my external hard drive ever since, to be loaded into whatever device I choose. I have something like 125GB...

Well Done, Steve!
I've been hoping for these to become available again. Looks like exactly the thing I want for Christmas, I just hope you still have some in stock by the time I can order one!

My purpose, more than anything else, would be in evaluating my enjoyment of the kiltmaking process, with the secondary goal of getting a usable garment out of it. Cost is also a big factor, so the...

Greetings!
I was looking through the fabrics available on/through Scotweb, and came across a fabric labeled as 13 oz Poly-Wool (55%/45%). This is the first time I've seen tartan in that...

Honestly, given the choice and with hindsight, I would have ordered both it and my sporran from elsewhere.
The sporran strap is unfinished on the sides (and on the back), and I have figured out...

Well, I'm by no means an expert, but I have been playing around with that tartan maker, so I will offer a humble suggestion.
The black and scarlet pattern is very nice, and I would not change it....
