So the day has come.... (actually it came two days ago but I never took the time to write, i was busy kilting), my Balmoral 8 yard in Wilson Modern (Lochcarron strome) has arrived!...

I just came from Halifax where they have many bars with many scotches... tried Laphroaig, a Glenlivit 18 and Oban 14... allexcellent, the Glenlivet especially good... Oban, quite nice, light...

Awww, my roomate had some penderyn, from BC actually, (we can't get it in NB) and I concur, it is nice stuff.

I certainly do hope you had a good time! Ironically I'll most likely be in halifax this week with my kilt, if i get it this week (I will with any luck)
