Indeed, that is why I wear them; cool looking shoes, different from the norm and are REALLY comfortable. Pictures of them worn with a kilt will soon follow

Thanks for the tip, but not necessary. As I've said, they're only slippy when the ground is wet. Other than that there is no issue whatsoever. Plus, I wouldn't wear them out when it's wet/raining...

First off can I say kudos for the gratuitous Lebowski comment. The Dude rocks.
With regards to the bowling shoes, they say AMF on the back above the shoe size and on the inner sole. And they are...

The extra length of the country socks does look awesome when scrunched down into my boots. However, I haven't really researched the proper way to fold them when pulled up. But thank you for the tips...

The comment I usually hear whispered is "that guy is wearing bowling shoes". The question I get asked most is whether I stole them from a bowling alley or bought them! lol (I actually bought them off...

Once I get my bearings I'll definitely be over to say hi, especially as I'll be coming up from London on my own.

That's excellent. As I said, you've inspired me to create my own tartan. I'm going to try and figure out a way to combine the flag colours of Trinidad (where my mum is from), Jamaica (where my dad is...

Thanks for letting me know. You've inspired me to design my own tartan. Is there a reason behind the colours you chose? (apart from the fact that they look amazing and compliment each other very...

Where did you get the kilt made? Did you design it first and then send it them or did you design it in conjunction with a kiltmaker?

I think i'll be coming along. Will be nice to meet some fellow XMTS members in person

My screen name is taken from the Marvel comics superhero Black Panther (yes, I am a geek and very proud to be!).
My avatar was originally a stormtrooper in a kilt, which I thought was awesome and...

I always wear a sporran with my kilts. I'm more modern/casual in terms of how I wear my kilts and always pair them with a waistcoat.
