I agree with Halloween as well. I did almost wear the kilt to a friend's funeral, though. His last name was Scott and was very much like an uncle to me, though we were not directly related. I hadn't...

My wife and I went out to Piping on the Green in Tullahoma, Tennessee. I am the guy by the sign, not the piper :)

I get this, too. Last week a co-worker told me that I should have worn my kilt for St. Patrick's Day. I know that St Patrick is believed to have been from Scotland, but that's not the point. :)

I wore my MacLean on Monday and will probably wear my Scott another day this week. Hopefully it will get a little warmer for you.

Howdy, folks. I'm selling my HoC Lewis kilt hose (size large - US 11-13) and 2 sets of Lochcarron premium wool flashes.

That seems pretty reasonable, actually. Although, it's cheaper to register my car every year here in the states.

Tobus I had the same thought just last evening. I'm new here and yet still keenly aware of his contributions and activity. Glad to know he's living the good life.

I appreciate this thread and others. I'd never considered Highlanders coming over in service to the Crown. And I didn't know that there was a Highland settlement in Georgia. So that's 2 new things...

I've never seen a pay toilet in the States, but I've spent nearly all of my time in Tennessee and I'm a child of the 80's. But we would typically make a purchase as a gesture of thanks.
My first...

I can also confirm the quality of the hangers. I'll never order another kilt from Rocky and crew without also adding on a hanger.

It finally came! Ron over at USA Kilts did a great job. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. This definitely will not be my last kilt.
Thank you all for your posts in the forum with such...

I am very happy to begin waiting for my casual kilt in Scott Weathered. I placed the order today, and a couple phone calls were exchanged to confirm the length and now all is settled. I'm really glad...
