Looking good guys! Sorry I missed the photo :( I was at the Fergusson tent Sat and Sun. Good times, if a bit hot! I was in a waistcoat and argyll both days so whew was I glad to get home at the end :)

Sounds good. What kind of dates are you looking at for having the kilt night? I'm cool with a non-bar gathering. I liked the idea of a kilted bowling night ;)
-
I'll be there all weekend, hanging in the Clan Fergusson tent.

Haven't played Magic in æons! But more interested in the tats... whatcha getting?! :)

More into Scotch. I think it's more complex and the variety can suit just about any palate, and most bourbons I've tried have had some ... off ... flavours that I just don't care for.
That said I...

I use Wustof Gourmet knives... quality blades w/o being horrendously expensive. I used to have a set of Wustof Classics, too... better balance and overall blade, but I hrm, lost those.

In Lake Travis (Austin, TX), there's an underwater cache. Haven't searched for it yet, but i think they tied it off to something and attached something buoyant as a marker. There's also a slate and...

Love it, wildcat :) The fire pics are always the best. Glad y'all had fun. Those runs are a blast. I think the Warrior Dash is by far the muddiest one I've done. But getting all that mud out from...

So Saturday was the annual Edgefest rock concert here in Dallas. Amongst the lineup was Flogging Molly, so I thought it prudent to show up kilted! Saw a couple other lads out there in kilts, and got...

I've been caching for a while, but only have a hundred or so finds. I need to get back into it :) Wouldn't recommend doing it kilted, though... draws to much attention from the muggles :P

Ah ok... thanks for the heads up :) I'll keep an eye out, still :)

I've tried Cardhu 12 a while back. If I recall, the people sampling it said it is most commonly used in blending... in particular, it was the chief constituent of Johnnie Black.
I remember liking...

Nice, cdarwin ;)
Doug, I actually picked up this USAK casual just for these runs. The velcro they use is tough stuff!!! You really have to try to get it undone. Had no problem whatsoever. Not to...

Ok, here's the pic from after the wash. Never got hung after the dryer, just in a heap on the floor for a couple days. Still looks great! Thank the Mills for stain resistant PV :D

Liz was just jealous that Jon looked better in the kilt than she did in her capris.

Updated photos to remove watermarks. And the USAK logo is actually visible in the first pic now :D

Good eye, Rocky! I'll be getting some non-watermarked versions pretty soon and replace these. Just haven't received the finals yet. After a go with the hose and a rumble in the washer, you'd think it...

So I ran the Warrior Dash on Sunday. It's a 5 kilometer race through a muddy obstacle course. Clan Ferguson represented :D Not that you can see the tartan through the mud...

Dashing lad you've got there, Jeff! He's adorable! And a very nice tartan, too.

The best mead I ever brewed was made with Acacia honey. Haven't tried any of the others in a brew, but not a fan of chestnut honey in general. I wish you the best of luck with it :)

Hey, not necessarily trying to arrange a kilt night, but at least an FYI if anyone decides to come, too
On Apr 6 I'm going to be at the Trinity Hall at Mockingbird Station with some mates...
