I totally HATE the Facebook, information sucking, model, but I've been on it for a long time so I'll "Like" you regardless.

The trick with 9 is having a partner who can start with 5. Once the clubs are flying it's actually a smoother flow than with 8--just faster and higher throws. (He said as if it was easy. )

Tess, the trick is called "Mill's Mess". Don't want to be confusing those who don't know much about juggling.
You're a juggler--cool! As I said in an earlier post, I too spent a zillion...

Very cool! (No pun intended. ;-) ) Fun to see a kiltie doing Mill's Mess with snow balls!
I was a pretty good juggler in a past life (actually was a street performer for several years) so I...

I removed the image because the photographer has a very strong copyright statement on his web site. If you want to see his image of the kilted bullfrog hunter with a table leg prosthesis, follow the...

The Canadian citizenship laws changed in 2009. As of then, if you have a parent who was born in Canada you can claim citizenship. Because my father was born in Saskatchewan I decided to give it a go....

Just received my 5 yarder, 16oz wool, Maple Leaf tartan kilt from USAK! I went for the Maple Leaf because in December 2010 I officially became a dual citizen of the US and Canada. I'll wear it...

Fantastic! My grand parents (on my Dad's side) were from Iceland, but I've never been there. One day.

About the wind... You'll notice that behind my left foot there is a hole in the wall. We were using that hole as a marker. All the individual band member shots were taken in front of it in order to...

An wind aided "individual" pic from a casual photo shoot of the band at Sutro Baths in San Francisco this past weekend. [Note that I was smartly griping an inner pleat with my thighs--whew! ]

Very nice! Love the colors! Congrats.
Oh and post some "in action" shots ASAP!

I did notice a little stagger in your step. Perhaps you should drink the beer after.

Saved by a winky emoticon--I think. I originally wrote "bastards" instead of "stuffy kilt police", but I chose to be less harsh because I know there are those HERE who don't totally disagree...

Moylans brewery is just a few miles from where I live. I've sampled most of their beers (several times  ) and had a Kilt Lifter just the other day. Good stuff!

I wear my UKs more or less just like I wear jeans. Sometimes I wear a button down, casual shirt, sometimes a t-shirt. Some times tucked in, sometimes not. If it's chilly I'll wear a sweater, sweat...

Congrats Matt! Though I'm sure my photo was a close second.

Why Ron (aka Riverkilt) has never been awarded an honorary title befuddles me!

Bravo! Both custom titles I've seen so far in this thread are well deserved!

This bay area resident says, "COOL!!" Try before you buy works for me, sales tax or not. I think UK will do well in SF.

I read a few negatives on the Pimsleur "trial offer." IMHO, there's no point to the trial offer. $49.95 for ten 1/2 hour lessons is a small price to pay for a convenient entry level course in Irish...
