Received email notification that my new MacDonald of Clanranald kilt shipped today. I'll probably wear out the UPS tracking site the next few days. ;)

Rocky, I retire in seven years. If you can hold off 'til then, I'm happy to relocate. :D
Seriously, good luck in your search.

We visited on a cold, windy, rainy November day. The weather seemed to provide the perfect setting for our ramble around the battlefield. It was definitely a sobering day....

Enjoy the trip. We spent a week for our wedding anniversary a few years ago and had the time of our lives. We started talking about going back almost as soon as we got home.

As a postal supervisor, it seems I spend half my day explaining that fact to customers who are convinced their package should have been delivered yesterday. ;)

Those who were wishing for a white Christmas around here are happy; those of us who have to work in it are swearing and wondering when it'll clear up. :D
Ten inches of snow on Christmas day, clear...

-8C with light snow when I headed out for my morning run. I think it's time to move down under for the next six months or so. :D

We've been both years. One of our neighbors is on the organizing committee. Moab is my favorite part of the state. I'll take any excuse I can get to go to Arches National Park.
I'll be interested...

I'm up at 0400 for work. I've worked an early shift for so long that I wake at that time no matter what. My wife hates me when we're on vacation. :)

First of all, this is not a book review. But there was a reference in a book I've been reading that made me chuckle last night, then think a little too. I'm reading Song of the Vikings, which is...

Terry Pratchett is one of my favorite authors. I especially like the comments he makes in the footnotes. :)

Jock, I get the feeling you don't want us to come visit. I'm hurt. :D
