Wait 'til you get the kilt hose and then wear them when you go shoe-shopping. Hose are usually thicker than "normal" socks.

Several US newspapers are running a story about the motorcade carrying Dr. Graham's body to its resting place, with the line "...a man played bagpipes..."
It was me.

Happy Andy's day to you too, Ern. No kilt today, as I wore it yesterday for a funeral. I'll wear a red shirt for Andrew's martyrdom & maybe enjoy a piece of fish tonight for the fisherman.

Do you know where I can find the sheet music for "Silent Night" in Gaelic, or would you be willing to reply with the lyrics to the first verse hyphenated into syllables? Thanks.

Do any of you watch the BBC mystery show "Shetland"? It's on PBS in the USA. I sometimes watch it just for the scenery and the actors' accents.

This was a pleasure to make, and Fr. Bill & Liesel are fun to work with. I mailed it a month early, so Liesel had to hide it so Fr. Bill wouldn't find it (even though he was the one who ordered it)....

What if you branded the logo into the fabric...

As aforesaid, double-width, true selvedge. I'd prefer Dalgliseh to weave it, but if another weaver is less expensive, I'd vote for the less expensive.

Are we talking about single-width or double? Any guess on the per-meter price?
Thanks, David and Peter for taking on this project.
