it's kind of a cotton canvas duck material with leather around the waist and a leather apron. he found some kilt making instructions on the web and made it himself. he did a pretty good job on it,...

it depends on how well you take care of it, not only during the healing process, but also after it's healed. sunlight is the worst thing in the world for tattoos. use lots of sunblock!
