I have the Cameron and Black Watch from WPG. The trim works fine as is with the Black Watch but I covered it with black bias tape on the Cameron.

Those WPG kilts are great for sure. I have the Black Watch and Cameron and they were lifesavers this winter with the below normal temperatures.

The buckles on both my WPG kilts are holding up very well. I have the Black Watch and Cameron and here in snow country I wear them quite a bit.

They are course, they're replicas of military kilts that were worn in the field and in battle, pretty much preWWII. They feel like blanket material. They are warm but not too bad when you're moving...
