    Kilt Hose

In wearing my Black Stewart tartan kilt, I usually wear a white shirt with a black vest or a charcoal tweed vest. Do I try and find hose to match a color of the Stewart tartan, or something to go with the shirt or vest?
    Thank you.

Get ready for a wide variety of opinions.

Dead-simple would be to match the hose to the vest/jacket you plan on wearing.

Next level would be to match or complement a minor element in the tartan - green, yellow, red, or blue.

Final level would be to throw caution to the wind, do whatever you want, and the less you think about it the better. ;-)

If I were doing it, I'd probably go for bottle green hose, and tartan red flashes - hard to beat that combo.

The short answer and the traditional answer is, "don't bother". What you decide to do is entirely your choice.
