Hi,
This is Rover, practicing for agility trials for an upcoming dog show. Rover is a Puli, a Hungarian Sheep Dog, and is entered in the herding category.
In Hungary, Pulik, the plural form in Hungarian, lived with the sheep and the heavy coat is both for protection from the elements and from predators.
Bob
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

my pair
Here is what creates a rucus around our house.
The one on the left is Hermione, she is 10 and to keep her company is Isadora at three years of age

Hermione is a lab collie cross and Isadora is a lab samoyed cross.
Isadora makes it a point to inspect the kilts I'm working on three times a day...blasted dog hair!
