Being a lass, I've been wearing skirts my entire life, in various lengths.
Today I discovered something inherently different with a kilted skirt.

The pleats, when one walks rather fast, DO in fact create a little breeze! You guys weren't kidding when you discuss the "ventilation" factor.

I'd only ever worn my kilt-skirts with tights, or with athletic shorts underneath, or while walking slowly in crowded areas. The breeze factor was a new discovery today whilst in a hurry.

Regular skirts just don't generate their own draft.
