Wow. What a great time I had at the crawl. It's impossible to look good with dyerstraits around. He is always the best dressed. Pipers, dancers, beer, scotch, great friends and great new friends. Thank you to the chicago scots for putting together such a great night. And sorry I took no pics. Beers had priority.

Agreed, @DyerStraits is a sharp dressed man.. next public outing I'm gunning for his level of dress.

Speaking of an outing... Let's plan the next one!

Think I may have a spot in old town barrington.

    I'm down for a brew-day as well, if y'all
    are interested.

It sounds like it was a wonderful time. I'm sorry I was unable to attend. Hopefully next year.

    Shame on you!!
"No canines were harmed in the making of this full tail skunk sporran," but nevertheless, my girlfriend's hatred of it may very well have something to with her associating it with Della, our Bichon Frise:

I would love to do either or both. I inadvertently drove through Barrington/Barrington Hills recently--which I had never visited before--and was floored by how beautiful the area is. I might as well have been in Kentucky Horse country. I'm a bicyclist and have been jonesing for a nice long road ride (especially since I missed the North Shore Century, AGAIN) and that will be my destination. And I'm REALLY ready for a GrainReaper homebrew get-together, especially since I couldn't make the last one. I plan to bring a variety of exotic/game sausages for the grill...

Meh, it was a walkover...Mikilt is the REAL benchmark for Highlandwear style (on this side of the Atlantic anyway--HRH Prince Charles
rules, so to speak, on the other) and he wasn't there, so no real competition, although all the guys there looked good in their own unique ways.
