VA Scottish Games SEPT 13 - Meet Up

The 2008 VA Scottish Games and Festival will be held on September 13-14th from 9 am to 6 pm at Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane, VA. Last year, it was their first year at this location. In reminded me a wee bit of the Highlands.

So rabble of Virginia and vicinity how about a meet up on Saturday 9/13 at noon at the beer wagon/tent?

As you might guess - the best place to find me will be in the fiddle tent. Let me know where a proper meet up is and if I am not competing or performing I will be there.

I know I need to upload a pic, but so far it has been a challenge.

As we get a bit closer I will post what tartan I will be wearing.

So far it's going back and forth, but it looks like I should be able to make it on Sunday. Let's make sure we know where. This is my first year to these games, so I don't know what's there. Can't wait to meet more of the Rabble.

1. Where are the pictures of the ding-a-ling excuse me the bells?

2. Consider agreeing on some way to recognize each other. At the Frederick Games therer were 3 or 4 X-Markers all under the music tent and we never met up.
