I love Highland Cathedral as a sentimental favorite.

I can't say I've heard a wide variety of pipe music, but my favorite—in addition to "Highland Cathedral"—is "The 74th's Slow March". I first heard both songs after receiving this album on cassette tape.

Yes - I've piped it at several military funerals. It came into the public purview when the film We Were Soldiers was introduced.

I have a CD player that I listen to on the walk to work and back. The pace picks up to Scotland The Braveby the Caledonian Heritage Pipes & Drums, Toronto Police Marching Pipe Band Strathspey & Reel, Toronto Pipes & Drums Mull of Kintyre, The Royal Highland Fusiliers Flower of Scotland, Donald MacLeod Devil in the Kitchen.
Sorry for the many Pipers on this board, but a massive gathering of pipes performing AG does raise the blood, and probably the blood pressure of the Pipers.
I also will admit to overplaying AG by Scruffy Wallace (The Dropkick Murphys), just to hear after the solo GHB, the rest of the band kicks in with drums and electric guitars, keyboard. And they can not compete with the GHB, no matter how loud the amplifiers are cranked.
