To bad Gary
I would love to see the Thorfinn in all it's glory, Turpin is working on mine so the wait is starting to kill me, then again seeing yours might make it worse. I hope your day is alright even if you can't make it.

Okay we'll plan for 7:45 - 8. Who's going and who's interested in Emma's at 10:30?

I'll be at the Queen's, however Emmas may be out for me, as I work early.

Our Global Kilt night started at

it was a good night with many regulars and some notable exceptions, Grant was there and I presented him with the coveted L&M Beaver Sporran, the pictures do not do this sporran justice it is a beauty

Corey and Grant (notice Grant knows where to sit)

They were serving a drink called Black and Blood in honour of All Hallows' Eve it's a pint of Guinness with a half once of blackcurrant cordial

Pete tried one

And it came with this glass

Uncle Ricky was there as well

Grant and Peter talking about how cold it is getting

And finally a kilt night at the Queen's Head would just not be complete without a shot our version of Moriarty and Holmes, I will let you decide who is who

All in all a good night was had, some of the guys decided to go to another spot after dinner and a few drinks, but as I work early I decided not to join them this time. I suspect the SOKS Global Kilt night is still going on.

Corey, his wife and I kept the party going until 3 am. Figured since we ended up back in Burlington I'd tie one on and cab it home. Good time in spite of no kilt checks or sporran rubs. Sorry no pictures as I shouldn't be operating mechanical stuff when I'm drinking. Don't remember much else.

Darn it! I was perfectly happy with my leather dress sporran until that last picture. One has to do one's best to keep up with Grants and the Glens in this world. Looking sharp gents.
Sounds like a fun evening and a "Black and Blood" actually sounds quite tasty.
Cheers

Jamie DO NOT get into a sporran war with a Canadian we'll just don a full face baby harp seal sporran and beat you over the head with your government regulations.

It would be best to say nice sporran lads, shake hands and agree to no competition. We are here after all to celebrate our commonalities and to learn from our differences.

Grant,
You are being reasonable! How much did you have to drink last night?

Cheers

A lot. I saw a sign that said `Drink Canada Dry` so I took up the challenge!
