Nice to see someone here from Scott County, Tennessee. My mom's family is from Oneida, TN. I was just down there on Tuesday. Had to make a turn-n-burn trip; down and back the same day. A four hour trip, each way, from Dayton, Ohio.
I've been to Ohio A time or two. I have an uncle who lives in Albany. Beautiful country up that way. I've been as far as Cincinnati but that's about it.
Welcome from Western Michigan. It seems that a utility kilt has become the "gateway drug" for kilters. I know that's where I started as well as MichiganKyle. Sort of the inexpensive way into " Do I enjoy this?"
Most of us here know the utility kilt is just the first step.
That is the exact reason why I tried a utility kilt. They are inexpensive, and if I didn't like it I wouldn't have a lot of money invested. However I rather enjoy wearing a kilt, and I am looking forward to getting a more traditional one in the future. I think the utility kilts will stay in the rotation for days, when I am doing anything that will get a more expensive kilt messed up.
