@Ntaker, @Joe Sixpack: this was never about what you have or haven't been doing "every freakin' time"; it is about welcoming a
visitor from far away who knows how to get to the "chain joints" and doesn't know Atlanta other than 3 or 4 places. Are you telling
me that Southern Hospitality never existed in your mind? I've sat on 20 for two hours trying to get from Six Flags to the Capitol,
never mind what happens between there and VA/Highlands. It can be an hour from the Capitol to Freedom Parkway. You know the
alternates; he doesn't. We already said we'll try go to your neighborhood some when we're planning in the future. It might be a breeze,
or an enormous snarl. You take care of company, then experiment when it's just us.

Gentlemen, as I said, I will not be able to make it tonight. I would like to point out that I do ask for suggestions or opinions each time we plan a kilt night, and the last one was not at a "chain" (Johnnie MacCrackens). We often meet on the north side because that is the most central location, not to put anyone out.
How long are you in town for, @GrainReaper?

Rarely quicker at rush hour. Easier if name and address in the directions post. I know the back ways and have been there. He doesn't. If we're still talking Limerick three pages later, I can get there in somewhat similar time as TMac. Probably. Might even make a bluegrass jam after. My effort was to make it easy on our guest. 5:00, 5:15? Limerick Junction, near Blind Willie's?
Sam, IIRC, he's headed home tomorrow.

Johnnie MacCracken's was even further out in Marietta.
We always seem to take suggestions and yet end up at TacoMac in Sandy Springs. If it wasn't for kilt-con I dare say we would have ended up there yet again.
Heading up 285 North for most of us around 5-6pm is no joy and far from central to the point that several folks who wanted to partake in the group do not even bother showing up.

We have met at The Tavern in Conyers, downtown at Red Brick Brewing, and also at Monday Night Brewing.
In addition, we have met at Meehan's, The Pub, and Five Seasons Brewing.
I have not been told that people are not coming out because driving to the north side is too far, but that is possible. The most common reason I'm told that people can't make it is that weekdays are difficult to do.

We'll hope to see you soon, wherever we wind up. NTaker has had the worst; he's coming from outside the perimeter below I-20. Brutal.
