i've been paying some attention to this forum for several years, happy to now be a part of it. It appears to me, this forum is more than kilts, it's also about etiquette, common manners and respect for others. Also sometimes; blunt honesty. But almost always done with a tongue in cheek, slightly sarcastic (read military) sense of humour. Wore my first kilt at 12 yrs when i joined the Cadets, but had to put the pants back on when i joined the reserves and finally regular force. Retired after 26 years and did a little of this and that for a decade. i am now semi-retired.
