    Happy Tartan Day to All,

and thanks for the link to the virtual Tartan Day. We usually go with the Kearny NJ Scots-American Club on a bus(or three!) to NYC to march in the Tartan Day Parade, it is a lot of fun. This is the 700th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath, would have been particularly good this year. Very sad it was canceled, but, it's the way it is. Thanks again,

    Donald

PS-Great video of the first parade we marched in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--Eb3Q83KPc

Good historical video from Leslie Riddoch

Ha! Missed recognizing the date, but wore my Royal Stewart* SportKilt all day, working from home.

And went out for a 2 km solitary walk yesterday, in my 8yd Ancient Campbell. Had a few smiles and nods in passing from across the street.

(*actually found there are some Stewarts/Stuarts in my genetic woodpile via 23&Me)

I wonder how many, if any of us in the UK wore a kilt or any tartan yeterday - few if any I'd guess.

I did, but I might not count.

Not me. Not for any other reason than I happened to don trousers when I surfaced. It just never entered my mind as the day has no significance whatsoever for me.
