    Weavers/Makers

    Hi,

Apologies if this is in the wrong area!

After appearing in TV in my kilt which was a new district tartan I've had people ask if I can get them x, y and z in the tartan. The most notable is a ladies pleated skirt.

I've asked my kiltmaker and they've quoted £450 but I'm sure this could be done cheaper, though I am aware it would require a custom weave.

So I appeal to the board if anyone knows any reasonable cheap, preferably UK based weavers or makers. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Both of these are worth a call, I've contacted both of them in the past , and they seemed prepared to custom weave for reasonable costs..

Does that include registration costs or have you already registered the tartan?
