    That thing looks awesome. I am pretty new to kilts, is this a traditional thing to do?

    The badger head or full mask sporran is one of the oldest styles of sporrans dating back to the 1600's, if I recall correctly. This one was patterned after the sporrans use by the Argyle's and later by the Argyle and Sutherland's, all be it a civilian version. To my eye they are quite wonderful in their presentation. The vintage ones are truly a work of art.

    Thanks for the info! I think this one looks like a work of art. Don't think it would go very well with my DIY blacksmith kilt tho.
